2018 is a very important year for SULSAR, it not only marks our 20th anniversary, but is also the year in which we will move into a purpose build headquarters and a permanent new home.
This new home and HQ would not be possible if it were not for the generosity of a few of our sponsors. Our thanks to James Taylor and TMJ Interiors for the manufacture of the building walls and roof structure, Glen and Elliot Lebbon and the Stag Café for the land and ground works and David O’Brien and his team at Complete Fixing Services for supplying labour to erect the building. Without these people the project would not have been possible.
There is still a long way to go before we are able to move in and hazards keep appearing along the way, such a electricity connection charges etc but we will overcome this and be in by the end of the year.
We now need a little help from you the general public. If any of you know an electrical company that may donate materials and lighting, please get them to contact us. We are also looking for about 50 litres of white matt emulsion if anyone has a contact in decorating materials.
If any of you would like to donate towards our building you are able to do so by scrolling down and hitting the donate button, any amount will be gratefully received. Once we have moved in we will be able to sort our equipment and order it all in a better fashion. We will be able to get the right equipment for the right callout faster, meaning we can be on scene faster. This is a great step forward for SULSAR and in our service to the Suffolk Community.
